Re: I'm so tired of this
This is a little funny because this thread died before the BBS did last time, but that is cool. It may have been lost in Kiryan's 8 billion post blitz. To Kifle - You have been grossly misinformed. I leave my underage Malaysian boys at home. It would not be home with out them (all ten million - than...

Re: Whats the best MMORPG?
I am one with the restore druid. If I touched rejuv during any major battle (except when desperate), I'd kick my own ass. Regrowth... sure... Rejuv is for running away, to, or through stuff. Besides, I can't show off my dire bear tanking skills if I rejuv the whole time.
Be afraid.

Pass the bong dude Really? I thought all sorts of non-stoner types talked about aliens. What do you, ehhh, other humans talk about? Initializing data collection sequence... I'll have to assume you're a government agent attempting to stifle conversation. In fact, firefox crashed when I tried to type...

Re: I'm so tired of this
Wow. I would think that Public Enemies would have songs from several groups named Public Enemy. But to be fair, Star Wars (pick one) did not have any songs from any groups named Star Wars. No wonder nobody like those movies. I slept more than I should have and am still sleepy today. Accordingly, I m...

I'm so tired of this
No... really... I am exceptionally tired today. But the details of why I am tired is boring. Instead, I think you should use your moral, religious, or political point of view to tell me why I am tired. This may include blaming others (politicians, homeless people, Pril, etc.) or blaming me (personal...

Re: Taxing fat people for being fat
Kifle, I'm going to have to respectfully disagree. I've also studied philosophy and religion a fair amount (although probably no where near as much as you) and I've observed that Christianity, like most religion, is about doing what ever you want and then pretending like the nebulous source material...

Re: dreaming the future
I would suggest that we do remain ignorant as to each others experiences in dream states (and may always - depending on how technology develops). In that sense, we are ignorant. However, when someone claims a link between their dreams and reality (which I would hope most of us participate in and can...

Re: dreaming the future
From Ashiwi: I am aware that science cannot typically 100% debunk a theory, no matter how far-fetched, which is why I maintain the belief that all things in this universe are possible, no matter how highly improbable. I'm glad that you're aware and acknowledge this concept as fact. I would, however,...

Re: dreaming the future
There have been too many documented cases of instances that would be completely unexplainable without turning to the supernatural for me to discount it entirely. I'm not a fan of precognition theories, but since science cannot 100% debunk them as myth, then I will not take an absolute stance agains...

I just wanted to add that I like lichs as they are. Managing all the spells and abilities we have compared to other races is part of the fun. Also, working to really balance and max out eq to make up for the abilities that aren't the strongest is good. Honestly, I'd hate to see Azerost with better m...

That's doable. You'd just have to mess around with some point systems. If tanks has so many points = cleric with so many points, it's a true statement and the vit is assigned. It wouldn't be fully auto, but be a bit quicker and you could set it up in database style so once you groupscan it will auto...

I disagree. Every class has an advantage in an exp group. Each advantage outside of pet classes requires no extra work, just focusing on killing the mob. Why do pet classes have to concentrate on killing until pretty hurt, then concentrate on getting the pets to not kill? Just silly in my opinion. ...

Managing ghosts during xp isn't overly difficult. Management spectres can be more difficult, but still easily doable once you get your timing down. The amount of exp I lost to pets was highly neglible. It's harder with mentalists because the offense is so much weaker, but they also have blind which ...

It was stated long ago and many times that if lichs got spells like locate object and clair, the mud would explode with so much overpowered leetness that the world as we know it would be over. But why is it sad if it's not valuable in the main part of the game? You can laugh at a guy who cant' find DS or play his class well when he gets to 50 because he was pleveled or because he did it on his own. That's one of the big problems with experience. You can get to 50 without really learning a...

I tend to wonder how people can play human enchanters. The amount of spells you must constantly cast combined with the weak mem time just seems insane to me. We stole the thread, that's true. Anyway, this xp scheme will do nothing to benefit new players. Really, just following through on player guides, assisting them actively (recruiting helpers), and eliminating useless classes (so they don't roll useless characters) will go a long way to assist new pl...
