No word on when they'll be back.

They will be back however, once this hole is plugged.

Items that had been on auction may be reimbursed to their owners, I'm still pondering the issue.

I love Axis and Allies as a game.

Shogun from the same maker was also wicked fun with a similar play approach but with randomized turns which really made you have to be able to adapt your strategies.

And Talisman is always fun.

Only until the second mod on the restat command is prepared that allows you to deduct points (to a certain minimum) to add them back into your pool.

There is no mechanism to re-enable the restat option. Hitpoint considerations will be handled as they used to be.

The change to constitution applied hitpoints snuck in with the restat roller. I was inclined to let it stay for awhile, but it does seem to be having a larger than anticipated effect. It will likely be reversed by next reboot, and wait for its chance at a sequel when we're better situated for equal ...

Max_Stat allows your base stat to exceed 100. Racial modifiers are applied after other factors. Which is why sometimes a person will don a +4 stat boost item and get a different modifier. It's not a script that would injure the game beyond pissing players off. Which is injurious enough with how this is operating.

Due to somebody running a malicious script, pregen names are currently disabled for character creation. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope to re-enable the pre-gen names soon.

Nothing was changed recently. I fiddled with the damage control knobs on archery about 10 to 11 months ago, that's about all. There wasn't anything significant noticed then, I expect that like a lot of holdover junk the knobs don't work well either.

Any character will have access to one stat reset.

It will be using the point buy approach that will be used (and is implemented on) the 2.0 engine. The biggest question mark right now is the value of points to assign.

There should be no alignment shift. If your alignment has changed, it's due to a coded alignment change that has slipped through the cracks. I'm connecting fine to the mud currently, can anybody confirm if anybody else is having problems?

Shevarash did just set up an additional port, you can try to connect to port 3000 and see if that circumvents the problem.

Nocharm works on everything that has a charm proc.

Some beholders have the mass suggestion ability, whereby they suggest you remove your no charm. Because it stops them from charming you.

Everytime Gormal's characters loot a corpse, it triggers a timing debuglog because the following save command takes longer than usual to execute...

There is no standard scaling used on procs. Many that I have written do have some degree of limit, but any limits have to be inserted into the actual proc routine itself. I'd personally prefer if a similar style of control were used on all procs, but we're not designed for that right now so it only ...

To expand the example, Holy Avenger scales based on skill level relative to your current level. If your skill level with two handed weapons remains close to the best you could be for your level or exceeds a certain plateau, there will be no problems.

Moonshaes is planned.

Truthfully, there should be no teleportation to or from the island to remain fully thematic. Even the Queen's trusted agents can't usually use magic to travel there. We make some concessions for gameplay; adding a beacon won't be one of them.

Overhauling how shamans work with their spirits isn't something I'm prepared to do right now. The best I could possibly consider is removing the failure chance, but scale the spirit's stats on a skill check relative to level. WRT summoning spirits and the like, I know its been asked about for awhile...
