Hey all, I've missed you.
I've been thinking about our community lately, and wanted to touch base... I just wanted to say how much I valued your time. Forgers, coders, players... You gave me many many hours (years) of quality. Thank you. I didn't leave because I was bored. It was physical/medical. I simply can't read much an...

Got Luck?
Poor timing, complacency, and blind luck create a little bit of 'oh sh*t' action. (jerk switched just as I was making hitters leave room.) Absolutely no way I was standing up - still had at least 2 round of bashlag left. Thanks be to Tymora... A civilized ogre switches targets.. < 722h/722H 118v/120...

First, T, let me say that I think bid systems like this can be a very fair way in the long run to help ensure that devoted followers get something in the end... So don't take this as a bish session. In zones w/ high time commitment, I'd sure like leaders to commit to a standard system. PlayerX - 1 1...

Off the wall comment regarding rangers... Seems everyone concurs that they'll never (should not) be awesome tanks - work in a pinch, but not for very long... So, since the above limitation would limit solo cheese a bit, what if rangers could self-globe, by whatever name makes sense. Heck, even add i...

Whatever the flavor, Sarells, mine, sexy's, phylactery.. Cheese isn't an option - the lich would just (un?)die if he attempted to use in solo/aggro situations. I'm kinda leaning towards Sarells personally, but it seems perhaps too easy - need a quick walk plus lagged reform IMO. Single step reanimat...

Prime age reference
Got tired of bugging people when I'm on rejuv duty to determine prime for various races. It seems prime (in terms of maxhp and regen rate) begins slightly after twice starting age. Perfect human is 34.5 to 37.5. So, I rolled one of each to see for sure... If you have a firm range not listed here, pl...

One lvl 50 human lich, 10th circle is 12 to 12.5 naked. Total memqueue is 582 I believe. When you start throwing numbers like that (-50, -35 w/ ress), Ambar, think about the deathrate in Tia, or even when soloing. Sheesh, had I been Peb, you'd be talking to the only 41st level lich on toril. *cringe*

Good stuff - but we're heading down the 'self rezz/restore' path which was a secondary point of the original post. The whole reason I dug up this topic again was due to the inability to get back in zones without fx. I brought up the reanimate(rezz) stuff because it makes sense, but it really isn't n...

That may well be an ideal way to consolidate all of my babble into one spell, while including the extra penalties and still allowing something similar to soul walk speed. Am I reading your version right in that there is no fx, other than the long chant and 2 round lag? (which after partial deathmem ...

Digging up old bones.
As much as I enjoyed Tiamat, I must say - I have never before felt quite so useless as I did at times during that run. Death was unavoidable - physical procs were just too painful. Even the mightiest fell. And so, soul walk was the key to success. What's that quote? "Do you have a plan, or are you g...

The Rebirth
With a tremendous shudder, the titanic body of Tiamat crashes down to the ground, the five heads lying limp. There is a fell sense to the air, and a moment later you see a faint miasma begin to drift up from the bloody fluid flung throughout the chamber. Each cloud is drawn towards Tiamat's bulk, th...
