In regards to the topic of this thread, I dont think evils/goods should be able to group. If the population density on the evil side is really a problem and if the staff wants it to be different, I could see a goodie conversion. Class to like class - one time, with penalties. Personally. After playi...

I've tried two evils so far. But returned to goodie life because of some of the attitudes I encountered. For the most part I wanted to lead little zones and xp groups and was well accepted for doing that because there were so few low/mid tanks at the time. Really enjoyed that, but a few of the ppl I...

Too bad eq is so important to level and survive. It doesnt take a noobie long to figure that out by looking around. Its the nature of the mud enviroment for them to ask since its obvious its the center point of mud activity now isnt it? Well its not really thier being bad or a problem in book. Its t...

Got to agree. DS is mostly neutral mobs so as a pally it doesnt do me to good. throw some evil mobs in there! I'm pretty new here, but have taken the time to explore a bit looking for evil mobs that give both a chance for me kill them and some decent xp. I've been to the SSC, Tower, IC, GC spectres,...

Still baffled at TG's. Well its a single mob fight, that requires nothing harder then walking there. There are no guardians, no traps, no flying monkies. The hardest part about getting a TG is the fight. If you can kill then ancient you can get the tg, its not a zone item that you have to wade thro...

After shifting around eq, making some trades for AC. I still cant get enough AC plus hit/dam to hope to tank much 2handed. I can get -100 with a nice shield so 1handed combat is fine. I think a lot of paladins and some AP's are in the same situation? Mid level eq that was kept for AC was hit too har...

My apolgies for being a bit off topic here, but I am hearing some ppl that might be able to help me. I'm not diagnosed bi-polar or anything like that. But I have (through a bad auto accident) been hospitalized for a very long time. And now I have been home for some time - but I am yet unable to move...

Agree Orku. I'm on the goodie side in the same situation! I've thought for a long time that after a wipe ppl reform thier guilds quickly, set ptimes and get to work. Of course there is nothing wrong with that, and I for one hope to be part of it one day. Till then we got earn our bones I guess. For ...

The Practice Yard pt2
Ignoring a bruised hip and aching lower back, Vassana hurriedly pulled on the steel greaves that were hidden with her armor cache in the stables adjacent to the Martial Practice yard. Adjusting straps and buckles she reviewed the previous training session in mind as Celander had taught her long ago....

I'm not the most experienced player on the mud, so I wont comment too much on Warriors/Rangers/Rogues melee. I would say that Thanuk seems to be a well versed warrior that has a good grasp on things - so I will differ to him. I understand his mom is very nice and the boys on the mud should just leav...

The Practice Yard
The morning air was cool and sweet as it wafted over the marble third story window sill of the Temple of Holy Warriors. As the sun spilled fall’s golden rays down on the Martial Practice yard of the compound, Vassana wondered if the young warriors standing at attention below could smell the sweet sm...

Agree Mitharx. I dont see how ppl that say "if you DG high level items low/mid items must also be DG'ed" have explained why very well. The only one I read mentioned the low and low/mid getting too close to the top if not changed. In the end this EQ balancing is to help standardize things for areamak...

Mud staff and recent changes.
I would like to point out, among all the emotional response to the EQ changes and such. How hard it must have been to cover so many things in the mud. Seems like tons got touched and changed. Its a hard job I imagine. And they dont get paid much. A good word here and there is all. I would like to ap...

Low/mid level stuff noobs use to level!
Ok my experience is limited here. So I wonder if the more travelled members of the mud community might add to the list of items that dont need a DG because they are basically leveling tools for noobs? You know, the stuff thats seems good till 35-40th then when you really get to zoning ppl giggle at ...

black-hafted broadsword stained with blood.
Ok. Fume. Ok as a preface I did not quest this. Galem, bless his heart helped me out immensely to EQ my little pallie. One thing he traded me was this !drop sword with !proc but decent hit/dam and dice. Maybe it was a bit stout on hit dam. I could live with that - what do I know of the greater schem...

Stamm said: 2. Disagree with Thanuk here. AC is too _easy_ to get. It ranges from 100 to -100(and lower effectively), yet -100 is pretty easy to get. I've been at below -200 AC. And it makes a HUGE difference for mobs at level 50 and below (anything higher and it's spelltank time). Full body armour ...

AC0 +2hit. Condsidering how easy it is to get an that it is mined every boot I guess not too bad. But who the heck wears them but new players that wanted the hit and AC to help level. This change wasnt aimed at anyone but low to mid level players that needed AC and a hit. Add AC and DG the hit. Hell...

EQ ideas
Ok I have been dorking around as a Paladin - hush quit laughing! I really like some of the skills that I have observed in different classes. I'm wondering where there isnt EQ that proc off those skills? Something like a lance that procs when my horse successfully charges. Or at least has a chance to...

auction bid retraction
Please add the ability to retract bids.
Accidently bidding a large amount on one of the numerous crappy items listed on the auction output sucks.
Yah, I know be careful. But still it happens.
