addenum: how it might work
Pick a weight of armor, say 1000 lbs, as a limit. If you wear 1000 lbs of armor (with -100AC) then 70% of melee damage will be absorbed. Above 1000 lbs of armor has no effect. Wear 100 lbs of armor (with -100AC) then 7% of melee damage will be absorbed. About to head out for NYE so will add to this ...

tank luvin: heavy armor give increased melee dam absorption
Two ideas in one really - high strength tanks with heavy armor and low strength tanks with light armor. I propose: (i) that we increase the damage absorption effect of AC based on the weight of the armor the tank is wearing. (ii) I also propose that tanks wearing light weight armor gain a bonus to d...

colour changing weapons/items
A LOTR inspired idea - ie sting.
A piece of high end gear that changes ascii colour when event X occurs.
eg. sword of the dragons - which changes color to red/green/white etc if a fire/acid/cold breathing dragon is nearby.
Turns multicolour when tiamat returns from her slumber!

Evils should play clerics or stop whining about the lack of them. A troll sings "There's a hole in the bucket, dear Eliza."
