I don't care if Starbuck has huge tattoos or not, she's still a hottie! As for the dramatic plot lines, i think it's great character development. Who knew that Apollo cheated on D with Starbuck? That explains everything! Now we just need to figure out when Baltar is going to die, and what type of ho...

Yes, these illegal immigrants are vital to america's economy. Not to sound rude or uncaring, but thes immigrants do the jobs that other americans don't want to do. Do you want to get paid $5.15/hr to walk ankle deep in sh*t and pick mushrooms up in kennet square, PA? I highly doubt it, but the illeg...

I've never had a weight problem, but i have learned a few things about nutrition while in college. One of the most important things is your calorie intake VS. calorie usage. If your body is burning more calories than you're intaking, then it gets the extra energy from the fat stored in your body. As...

How about making it so you don't have to wait for ress fx to end before u can ress ur next corpse. Make it so that the fx don't stack, but after each ress ur con is left unaffected. This way you still have the pain in the arse of not being able to more or pray/mem, but at least you don't have to wai...

I like your idea, but drop the grouping restrictions totally. If people want to RP, then they can form their own grouping restrictions for the session. Perhaps it can be a part of the ongoing RP work the RP Sphere is doing. If the players finish the campaign, then grouping restricts will be removed....

Maybe have mobs in the arena or some other test area that will give this data? This way players can see what kind of damage they're doing, but not against all the different types of mobs. Maybe just have a human npc that has 0 resistances, and 0 damage mitigation. This would allow players to get an ...

As an enchanter who left the game for a bunch of months I noticed how hard chanting is. I used to be pretty good at it, timing spells, watching walkins, etc., but now it's tough work! yah, maybe rogues should be split into 2 classes like they used to be. Back in the days of thieves and assassins, sneak/hide wasn't as powerful. Now that it is a great set of skills, you could make 2 classes out of the rogue 1) Thief - Master at sneak/hide, but not so good at damage with assassinate...

I believe that the cap exists b/c if the specs were able to go up to 99, then 99% of the spells cast in that specialization would recieve the bonus. IIRC it caps at 90 to be balanced. For some reason having it max at 99 would be unbalanced b/c every spell cast would be maxed. The way it is now there...

Well pisalos, fleeing is total luck from my experience. Your agil/dex doesn't matter when fleeing. As for you failing flee 7x in a row, that's just a string of bad luck. As for mages... they're the hardest class to play at low levels. Your best bet is to find a group, that way the mage isn't tanking...

Newbie Mages & Dying
I just rolled a necromancer not too long ago, and I remembered a problem I had as a newbie mage here. I agree - Newbie retention is paramount to the mud's future success. I'm hearing a lot of talk about making it easier to level so that people can have "fun" zoning. I think that shifting exp towards 46-50 was a good start in balancing things out, however since most of the mud is now 46-50 no matter ...

If rangers are supposed to be ranged attack masters, then there needs to be a skill-set for their ranged attack. I'm not talking about 2 or 3 skills, but half of a whole skill tree. Of course that would lead to reducing the current skill tree. However, there is a lot you could do. Possible skill ide...

I think the best overall conversion would be a straight xp conversion. I played on homeland for a bit and I know the exp is easier, so just do the conversion. It's simple enough. maybe there is a way to tie a specific number of arrows to your character, like 500 or something. That way if there is a crash, there is a way for your arrows to be tracked.
