MSCE is just another way for Microsoft to get your money. You have to recert EVERY TIME there is a major service pack release. The test is not cheap either...you're looking at around $250 last I recall. A+ isn't a bad way to go, but Network+ and Security+ are much better options. CCNA is a real pain...
