Upped the load chance for those, and fixed a few others that might have caused problems. Not fixed on mainmud yet, but will get it moved over soon.

I posted them in order of which they were in the zon file, so yes they are at the bottom of the list for those rares. More rares follow, but are worked a bit differently. About glimmering chainmail, it appears that its been looted about once a month. Given the uptimes, and the (in)frequent boots, I'd suggest thats about right.

From looking at the mob, they don't assist other mobs. From looking at your log, it didn't assist the other bugbear as there was no "I must assist my friend!" text. I'm guessing you somehow aggro'd the the scarred bugbear on a previous run or something.

From what I can tell by looking at things, that proc has been in since December 2002. At least on our testmud anyway. I'm not aware of any other changes recently to the zone.

I'm sure its all kinds of complicated.
My thinking is that while diku is open source, the code written for toril/sojourn/duris/black knight/copper/sequent over the years by numerous people, is not.
I really don't know the specifics of anything, its just my guess at why it would never be released.

I think the major problem with releasing the code base is that there are likely legal issues.
Another minor issue is that it is a cobbled mess in some areas. It would be much simpler to start from scratch with something like circlemud.
