That's a shame, I was hoping to see nightmares and pegasi. WoW is dorky looking, but it can kinda grow on you. The game has some very interesting features, but ultimately I stopped playing because of the time it takes to do anything. There's not really a lot you can do on WoW in an hour or 1.5 hours...

Kifle, I'm not sure what planet you're on atm, but this is Earth. On planet Earth, establishments that allow smoking are typically smoke filled if they don’t have separate designated smoke rooms, not areas Kifle, ROOMS with CLOSING DOORS. It's NOT one little tiny area immediately around the smoker, ...

I for one welcome our new removal of all personal freedom overlords! Well, a ‘personal’ freedom basically ceases to be personal when it infringes upon the privacy of another individual, and ceases to be a legitimate right when it causes harm upon another person without their consent. Personally I a...

Cleric who died was 46th, lost level to 45th. He was casting at the time so was not afk. He was not armored or vitted to the best of my knowledge. My rescue is around 85, I'm a 45th level anti. try reading; it was rather clear. "Add some more crystals to spob. Now: Since SPOB is no longer the end...

Think WoW method handles it just fine. Sure when you get your skill up you can make the little stuff still and go out and gather the lesser materials in low level zones to make the lesser items, but it becomes a waist of time. Why? Because you're only going to make a few silver profit. A few silver ...

We’re not seeing the sorts of alternative revenue streams that other media do. A book can spin off to a movie, an audiobook, a desk calendar. A movie can go to DVD, to pay-per-view, to premium cable, to TV. A song can go to radio, to sales, to TV or movies, to elevators. A game goes nowhere but dow...

What is it this mud is missing? This hopefully can be a thread about what you would like to see in the mud. New games don't require mindless drone action such as 'skills practice.' What was tolerated back in the early 90's, isn't now. In the time it takes to notch shieldpunch or rescue once when it's high, you could have gained several levels on a PC game. WoW does this, and I thought that was one of the...
