I think that one option rather then being able to see the exits which would sorta defeat the purpose of being dayblind... This is where I think a lot of you are making a big assumption. Mobs naturally use bash/kick/etc already so they don't spam spells. Are you really concerned about a low level ranger mob getting a 1-3 snake StS off on you? Dust devil is the most painful at low levels and its easily survivable without tons of endgame gear.

Trying to compare pen and paper DnD to Toril is so incredibly counter-productive and pointless. Dayblind sucks, but its also very powerful if used properly. Ultra races are still generally worse than others (hi snakes).

Not to mention that brass falchion has a 9% crit rate. Compare that to 2-6% on almost every other weapon not to mention those weapons that haven't been updated and still use racial crit. the brass falchion is still way too good and should be toned down. It rivals every other 1hander in the game and is soloable every boot. All of the weapons that got left behind really got... left behind. This is one of those half-finished things that really should be taken care of.

There's maybe only 4-5 fights in the game where it would really make the fight "too easy" and even then I think that it would make things so much better for the other 98% of the game that its more than worth it. Since no one's named a specific fight yet, that (somewhat) goes to show that i...

I misread what Torkur wrote somewhat and what I put wasn't really clear, my bad. How it prevents damage and which buffs it would stack with would definitely need to be discussed more. The mobs target by name so if you are fighting an elemental guardian for instance, and you bring in a fire elemental of your own they turn on your pets. You can't use movealone with them and when you try to toggle them off they start leaving the area so you can't scout without them.

Crashed again on me but as far as moving, the quest could do with far fewer checkpoints. Its clunky to have to constantly trade control of the group back and forth. Unglobed warrior makes me cry. You could remove cure light/serious/critic from the cleric, he wastes mana and time casting them a lot.

Mobs will switch to you even if the elemental is ungrouped. As for supposedly blind mobs, they either weren't blind or they weren't fully engaged before you attacked.

Magma plane is all sorts of bashable nonsense. Earth elementals should be bumped up so they can bash demons and such again while water elementals stay sized to bash humanoids. Embodiments and cleric spells no longer affect size.
