I dont think anyone is unsatisfied with squid damage. Its decent without being overpowered. Personally i just dont like that being the squid nitch. hmm.. that makes me think of an old mud i used to play that had Furniture object types.
It was mainly used with thrones that were fast healing for whoever sat in them, but there were a few generic chairs or whatever that were fun to restring.

Containers when held are most likely supposed to be statless, much like other wearable items that you can also hold. I like this idea for certain zones yielding few/weak rewards..
Particularly epic quests that require forming a large group to complete the quest, but then have weak/insufficient rewards to dice (CM, Erlans..)

Personally I think the rangers in scardale are a great introduction to spell damage, and lightning is an excellent spell to learn how to flee-back and get your timing down since it has an area echo. My only gripe would be that there are not enough of them! Scardale desperately needs more mobs that ...

To my knowledge bchanters use WIS in the exact same way as bards use INT. On 2nd glance, i see that bchanters have a minimum INT of 50, where bchanters dont have any min WIS. shrugs, 50 isnt a big deal, you can still roll a bchanter with a BAD int. if so, that's sad. a puny fourth circle spell doing 120+ damage? Invoker's 'fireball' spell is lucky to do 80 damage. The dust devil did 91 damage in your example. Moonshaes is planned. Truthfully, there should be no teleportation to or from the island to remain fully thematic. Even the Queen's trusted agents can't usually use magic to travel there. The elves would not set up a beacon to allow others, especially evil races, to relocate or otherwise travel there. If the elves set up a beacon in the necro or druid guild, then Leuthilspar and all of EM would still be safe from all non elves. This would only allow elf mages to travel to their home...

Its a container, therefore its legal. Anything that can be worn in any slot, or used in any capacity (wands, statless held items) can be legally traded. As a new person getting from GN to CM is a little hard although do able. I think if outside eq was not allowed in scardale, then those with the eq to plevel solo will just do it outside of scardale. The stat roller seems to give priority to int and not wis.
help battlchanter says min wis: 80 min int: 50. But this is not the case. Im guessing its reversed cause wis goes much lower and int cant be assigned such a low value.
