it's an area offensive spell, and I think from the code standpoint, all area offensive spells are the same in regards to mobs recognizing the offensive nature of the spell and attacking you over it. At least, that's how it has always seemed to me over the past 14 years..

On a serious note, how come clerics are left out here? Plane shifting to beacons wouldn't be that unreasonable. Eww. teleport_beacon is nice, but in my opinion a bit over powered. I believe they have fallen into the same mistake as my previous employer - don't advertise until it's completely finished and all the bugs worked out.
