Hmm.. dunno. ITs all pure speculation on my part since I don't know how the trophy code works. But I do seem to get better exp if I hit differant zones than staying in one area for a while.

Trophy kicks in at lvl 8 (according to helpfiles), so at low lvl it doesn't matter. I'm not sure exactly how it works, since I've found I gradually do get less exp from mobs if I keep killing the same one over and over, but it seems to happen more if we're just doing a few mobs in a row and repeatin...

Hey Jegzed, I think innate darkness lasts a lot longer than the 3-second cleric darkness spell though :P
And besides, you can see in the dark :P

Nods.. same thing happened with me. I was doing exp in soem differant areas to lwoer trophy down, then I got a couple deaths from zoning, and my trophy is higher than it was before I took the time to try and lower it *sniff*

Oof.. holy word got downgraded again? Ugh.. just looked at the news. Yeah, is that last part "However, the spell can now be saved against" a typo? Sounds like the now should be a not, unless the spell is really getting hosed over. About the stun thing.. it did seem to last a bit too long on some mob...

Just some feedback on a few spell durations: Blindness spell.. helpfile says 3 minutes, but its nowhere close to that. Any idea what the normal duration range is? The only time I tog anon on is if I'm messing around during lunch at work or something. I think people should use the ungroup flag on the who command.. 'who cleric s ung' for ungrouped clerics etc http://www.sojourn3.org/ubb/smile.gif I use that so I try not to bother people who are grouped :P

Nods.. ditto for me. Seems like it lasts longer outside, but still quite short. If I cast it in a town, it only lasts a few seconds.

I've seen that also, but it doesn't happen all the time. Some mobs don't seem to care, while others do. Doesn't really make sense for them to go aggro when the spell doesn't effect them.

Yeah, I noticed this also from having to keep healing the tanks, since their stone gets poofed really fast.

Looks like shield 'hits' stone even though the person has major globe up to stop the shield.

Yeah, temples selling res would be a good temporary way to suck some plat from ppl too.. chuckle.. or maybe it could have some use of the pretige number? It would be damned nice to have that in until res quest is available... Make the temple charge something obnoxious like 500 plat, and maybe lower ...

Heheh.. yeah, last night during the big jot spank, we could've used more time on corpse rot :P
Luckily the mud was rebooted and it reset the timers, so we were able to get Folur's group to come up and help us. And they got to corpses with just minutes left before rot.. oof

Oof.. yeah, I should've logged the Deva clouding us twice. Nobody died from the first 2 clouds though.. snicker It was at that point we were all screwed though.. 100hps left on most ppl just doesn't cut it on a !bash !stun mob with insane magic resistance :P Man.. we were doing pretty well too right...

Back at college if I had a nasty CR, I could just stay up all night until its done and just skip class :P

But now that I'm done with that and have a RL job, I have to be careful with doing big zones during weeknights, since I wouldn't have time for the CR if it goes bad.

Yeah, my guess is its the mud backbone getting upgrade or changed or something.

I have a high speed cable connection at home and I still get the crappy lag that others see (it comes and goes). Its pretty much everyone as far as I've seen.

Personally I think with ranger's mounted combat capped at 20 (totally resonable as far as I'm concerned) they should have flankblock. I've grouped with Bell quite a bit, and I easily see the differance now. With FB, Bell was able to rescue a mage (or usually me :P ) and be able to tank a few rounds ...

I know where you're coming from. Those big spank-all mobs in a zone groups can be fun at first, but they get boring quick as you rip through mobs in under 60 seconds. Personally I like the smaller groups that take longer to kill, since it adds some excitement, and I get to do more stuff as a cleric....

Ok.. been seeing some strange things concerning mob stun, which may be related to mobs being able to do multiple things at the same time and ignore their lag. Yeah, thats a good idea too. Actually, anyone know how long curse lasts? Help files say 7 days, but I have no idea if thats right or not, since if a mob is already cursed and you cast it on it again, you don't get any message (unlike other spells, where it'll say 'nothing happens' if you try to blin...
