Re: DEATH GCC
I'm against the concept of Death GCC or Death OOC on a permanent basis because it does infringe upon the privacy of the players. For fun events like tiamat and multiplay time it's something to laugh about, watching somebody's five characters spank to a duergar raider. But for average, everyday use I...

Not rent out after leaving and then having the game crash. It's the sort of thing we'll look to move somebody out when it happens, because there's no way to get back there in the case of a death.

Re: Pathfinder RPG
I've been playing in their first adventure path, the Rise of the Runelords. We're considering adopting the Paizo system to participate in the test, but we haven't yet. I will say though that the adventure is very well done, and Paizo has an excellent track record for quality and accountability. They...

Certainly could, but that involves looping through all the worn equipment with every time somebody checks score. It's feasible, but pretty inelegant and there's bound to be a better approach.

Re: NOCHARM NOSUMMON NOSLEEP etc..
There's no real easy way to make them visible, each of those effects gets checked when it's relevant. Which of course is why nocharm didn't work against so many things, because proc authors at the time didn't bother to check it.
That said, I'm poking at some ideas to get them displayed.

Re: Locate object etc
The maxload has been changed. If there's more than 1000 in the game, well then there'll be a problem. The load rate has also changed. But with the high maxload, more than one can be obtained in a boot. I'm not going to make the container norent. That does crazy stuff to anything stored inside them. ...

Nope, but you can still cast it on them. :) In more seriousness, the use of healing magic to harm undead is... that's right, planned for 2.0 when we can incorporate 'types' into spells. Being able to identify spells as doing positive energy, fire, acid, negative energy will allow us to factor in suc...

It is more than just fancy wording, it is the vision I had for the spell. Given that it is, as Kifle says, essentially an area type 'healing magic' sort of spell, classifying it as spec healing seemed the best suited.

Re: New Alignment Changes
There is an eventual plan to do away with much of the alignment restrictions on gear, and leave it limited to certain things that should be aligned in a certain fashion. That goes beyond the scope of what I was hoping to accomplish with this update, however it is intended for the future.

Alignment restricted items will still adhere to the Good/Neutral/Evil axis of alignment. Anti-Paladins are forced to an evil axis, but can freely choose between the three options availab...

The proc causes more damage for evil alignments.
For good alignments, it causes less damage and heals.
It's all built into the proc design.

My personal opinion about how rareload bodyparts work... When the part doesn't load, it means that in the process of killing the mob, you rendered the part unrecognizable. Thus you couldn't realistically loot the fingers/head/arms/legs. Its a theory that can have all sorts of holes poked in it, but ...

Disarming a !drop weapon is meant to move the item into inventory. Turns out that the check for removing the weapon was only called if it wasn't no drop, and the messages get parsed before that. The disarm issue will take some investigation. As for the autoloot/wield, that was basic scavenger code. Unfortunate in this instance, b...
