ah ok, well...while you are probably right, i'd still think you should a) try different ram in YOUR motherboard, and b) flash the cmos if you haven't, sounded like you were worried about damage earlier - replacement cant be much worse than damaged

disconnect your cd rom drives and check the beeping pattern - is it long short long beep or just slow steady beeping? do you have onboard video? try removing the video card or reseating it. i *think* off the top of my head that if its not RAM and still does the beeping pattern that its usually a vid...

Try removing the RAM and reseating it firmly, then try it with just a single stick of RAM, if that doesn't work i'd see if you have another stick of RAM available, or just pick one up cheap online to test.

of course i run 64 bit vista, been running it since RC1, mainly i use it for high end multiplayer games, crysis, battlefield anything, the half-life 2 source stuff and sims 2 with about 20GB of custom content (god knows the sims loves ram). i havent had any problems with 64 bit gaming in a LONG time...
