despite being 'for everyone' quest gods acting to further the story will ignore anyone who is not the specific person they WANT to be a part of the campaign. I tried *ONE* time to do this RP crap, and was shot down and ridiculed for not being part of the crowd. I've participated in the ring campaig...

Alomlim, The problem here is NO other class on the mud has their abilities permanently affected by death. Yes, it's possible to lose a notch in a skill that was maxed out but you can gain that back easily by practice. Psi's losing psp's, like the originator of this post said, is like any caster losi...

Allow me to elaborate: My lowbie psi alt lost level 18 last night. It had 306psp prior to the death that brought it down to 17 again. After a res from a very nice cleric its total psp was 305. Today, while trying to level the same alt I again lost level 18 (so psi's aren't the best of tanks). Upon r...

:) Sorry for any confusion. It's been about a month or so since I've seen the Illusix (maybe it was Illus-some other suffix, but Illus was definitely the first part) so maybe an Imm had it changed. I guess what I'm trying to say is that when I read the help file on what we can and cannot use in a de...

Description and Race Name Restrictions
A thought that I've had for a long time and kind of got reminded about from a post about height and weight in the Ideas section: if you read the help files on the restrictions to description and the restrictions to certain race names and then you look at some character descriptions and certain chara...

Hey Birile, got any IDEAS or just gonna poke holes and be cynical about mine? I've expressed several of my own ideas here! I like poking holes, too. That doesn't make me cynical, just pointing out some possible problems. Not saying I think your idea is bad, just not perfect. I fully expect m...

Thanks Sylvos! As it stands, bards have 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th and 10th spell circles. I wouldn't be opposed to increasing the number of circles we had but I'm okay as is. I'd just like to cast a phantom armor without having to worry if it means I can cast enough invis spells in the next 24 minutes! Thu...

Casting for Bards/Battlechanters
Okay, so I don't know how many spells per circle a ranger, dire, paly/anti etc. can cast but as a bard I know I'm entirely frustrated by the amount of spells I can cast in my higher-level circles. This comes from the fact that the current bard/bchanter system is similar to the called-proc item syste...

A good start to a prestige point allocation revamp, Ashiwi, but still not flawless (I know you know this :) ). Basing it on "mastery" of a skill seems a little unfair for those classes with skills (cough: bard) who have a heck of a lot of skills they can't "master." Unless you mean that when I get m...

Sojourn Updates/Changes
Is there any way the staff can give us mortals some sort of list of what updates they are currently working on? I know there are a lot of things "in the works" but I take that to mean more "we'll get to them when we finish other things" rather than "so-and-so is currently actively updating such-and-...

I generally like snow. Which is good 'cause I grew up in the Catskills and still live in upstate New York. Yeah, and while we're at it let's consolidate the invoker & enchanter into one class and the elementalist & druid into another. I think having alts is actually a good idea and everyone should try it. The reason you sometimes get Fair for your Charisma stat is because it was lowered since there are SO many minimum stats when rolling a Bard. I actually really like the idea of the song of world knowledge. Mainly because I think that there are still a lot of us who play bards for RP purposes.
