Just a thought, but horses used to have all sorts of armor they could wear in battle. Why not make some horse eq? It's simple, three or four pieces and you can grab it off your mound when it gets smoked. Obvious drawback of mud crashes and it's gone, not sure bout that:P But just an idea.
