Wobb, sorry, but rangers are high maintenance in zones. That's Lilithelle's point. An invoker doesn't need haste or globe. You take them and they do their job. If you take 3 rangers, then as well as your tanks, and rogue, then your poor enchanter has a lot of extra work to do. All Lilithelle is sayi...

Auction Tweak
Any bid within the last day of an items auction extends the auction to the next day. This will happen indefinately.
I.e. as long as someone keeps bidding the auction stays open.

To draw any more conclusions, you would need to test against that illithid a lot more than you have done so far I think. But nothing you've said changes the way I understood save pet to work. EDIT : This post isn't supposed to be negative. I was very interested in what you have done and should say t...

Ok... Let's say I want a belt. I see 2 on auction. I go for the first belt and bid 150 plats. You then come and outbid me for 200 plats. So I say stuff that and bid 150 on the second belt. So the auctions end with you winning the first one for 180plats and me winning the second for 150. You decide t...

Being serious... :P Also they would be the masters of luring mobs even able to lure normally unlurable mobs. This may change the dynamic of doing some zones but could be balanced with some tweaks. Also they could have a hide ability similar to but not as good as rogues. Change that to 'This will bre...

I guessed the reasons for the Tiamat nerfing... Maybe I'm wrong but... They are intending to put Tiamat back in so they have to make sure that the equipment from the zone matches the current guidelines. Perhaps they didn't nerf in the way that they should - The crescent moon amulet could have been d...

Just to pick up on something that was said about Seelie.... Can we just downgrade everything from the zone, apart from fully quested rings and staves, and downgrade the hps on the mobs to something reasonable? The zone is a bad one in my opinion. Beholders - Stupid. It doesn't even warrant discussing. Gith - Githyanki wouldn't be too bad. Extend the Githyanki fortress a little, and they have a hometown on Astral. They'd need some kind of innate shift prime that worked from astral, or some kind of gate to the underdark. Githzerai aren't good ...

The dice on Windsong are pretty poor, possible to look at them? Quested jot invasion gaunts (gleaming fire giants) are worse than the unquested ones. What about a command deceptive manipulation, which enables a rogue to manipulate their dagger so that it appears to be a khanjari, but actually isn't. So while it would function as a khanjari in all ways, it would only do this to mobs that didn't disbelieve it. The disbelieve command should be for i...

You can always bluff it. I'm sure your supervisor realises you're not the dumbest guy on the planet, so maybe spin him a tale that you've checked in to it. And as far as you can tell jury duty does count as work, and that you must be given 10 hours between shifts. Be sure and placate him by saying t...

As far as I know, in the UK our work is expected to pay us if we are on jury duty, I don't imagine it's much different in the US or Canada, whichever you are in. I'd just tell your work 'Sorry, can't work on sunday or monday, I've got jury duty'. If the shoe was on the other foot sort of thing, and ...

I have enjoyed every single chaos I've been involved with for a long time, on different muds with the Sojourn codebase. I've enjoyed pk on Duris, for quite a long time. It's difficult to have fun, or to be reckless when you're in Mithril Hall with no equipment, and no way to get any equipment. And there is no point to chaos, that's supposed to be part of the fun, nothing is lost or gained at the end of it. My problem is that for me and at least a couple of other pe...
