This is so sad, but I know exactly what game it is. Faxanadu. I got that game for like my 5th birthday and I remember playing it as soon as I got it. Then I put it on pause while we went to go eat sushi.

I remember the King at the beginning of the game gave you an alotment of money- but if you spent it just right so that every single coin was gone and you had 0 gold, then the king would give you another alotment of money. The King would keep giving you that same alotment everytime you went back to him emptyhanded.

I was there when that happened, I was sitting next to lalsed and saying something when he started cracking up and I didnt realize what it was at first until he said what was on the screen

Then we went to krogers for ice cream... and lalsed bought chicken. Tells you something

Heh yea I remember that little exploit too Yayaril. You could buy certain combinations of eq in the beginning to deck yourself out.

I guess I'm kind of near the beginning of the game, I turned on like two springs or something and thought i had to go talk to that guy again. What I think sucks tho is I can't get past those blocks again, I wanted to go buy the magic shield or some crap like that, oh well
