How is the weather?

Postby Abbayarra » Sat Nov 23, 2002 7:44 am

It's beautiful thank you. It was 80 degrees, sunny, a cool ocean breeze, not a cloud in the sky. A perfect day to go to the beach. God I love southern california!

Poo on you. Northern Cali looked like gray nastiness with a side order of fog.

About 0 to 1 degrees, snow is melting slightly. Sky is grey and no wind.

Seems like a regular November day to me, slightly too warm though.

Got an inch of snow, the rain under it from yesterday froze last night. And it's REALLY cold Image But it's supposed to get to 50 tomorrow and melt it all.

Highs in the mid 70's. Lows in the high 40's to low 50's. 26% humidity. It's a bit chilly right now at 62F in Central Florida.

i'm living fine with weather in the high to low 60's with clear overcast skies and we are expecting anywhere from 0-100% precipitation this evening.

In other news, the bank has been robbed. The suspect is described as tall and stunted, masculine in a femenine sort of way, kinda hefty with a slight build, with lightish dark hair and pale skin that has a dark tone to it.

More details as this story unfolds.

Soft white clouds wrap the sky in a blanket of quiet. Muted colours tint the trees and grass, as if too tired to bring out their bolder palates. Pedestrians muffled in their thick coats might notice a promise of winter in the wind's kiss, but otherwise it's a sleepy quietness as far as the eye can see.

Summer is coming on here.
Today in our area, they predict it will reach 36C (=95F) on the coast, and close to 40C (=104F) in the Hunter Valley a bit inland.
It's very bright and sunny, with a bit of variable breeze about, and hardly a cloud in the sky.

Excellent day for the beach.

We did go to our nearby beach, redhead Beach yesterday, for a very refreshing swim, as it was pretty warm & sunny then too.

We badly need rain, and lots of it.
In fact, most of Australia very badly needs lots of rain.

It has been 27 Deg F (-2.8 Deg C) and cloudy for the past few days and it looks as if things will be the same for another few days. Possibly a slight warm up coming where temps could reach 32 Deg F (0 Deg C). Picnic weather and No bugs. If it stayed like this all year I could be happy; Although, it would make growing my strawberries a little hard.

The weather has been nice here in the capital of Canada. There has not been enough snow for my liking though. We get nice snow storms, then a day or two later it is all pretty well melted, BAH! But it is looking up. The forecast on the Environment Canada site is calling for snow or flurries for 3 out of the 5 days. Temperatures around -5. *deep breath* Nothing like crisp, not-too polluted winter air!!

It's supposed to snow on Wednesday! HELL YEAH!

Oh wait.

I have to drive home on Wednesday.

95 and the Beltway are normally a mess, but with snow, people just completely flip out. Aww crap.

Maryland drivers are like the posterchildren for safe driving compared to the idiots in Virginia Beach during/after a good snowfall!

When I'm cold I turn up the heat. When I'm hot I turn up the AC. I'll go outside when I can adjust the weather. Until then I'll stay indoors.

With 3 inches of snow on the ground, and our road seemed to be clear, my husband (Reyel) left for work this morning. He said he was doing under the speed limit, but didn't have it in 4wd cause the road still looked clear. He must've hit some black ice, the back end of his vehicle went out and hit a guardrail Image I guess it cracked the bumper and did some other damage, but luckily James is ok Image Now for the insurance payment Image

Now we get to drive to my parents tonight and then to his parents tomorrow Image

Driving sux Image

Edit: the temperature isn't supposed to rise above freezing for the next 3 days, so all this slush is going to freeze Image
