You can do a lot of sound stuff yourself via zMUD triggers, just run around downloading various sounds whenever the MUD crashes =)

Blech, had enough trouble with color when it was first implemented, would hate to see sound there.

lol.. imagine a "blipp" for each magic missile, or maybe a "swish" for a miss and "clank" for a hit..

Would ceratainly make my boss suspisious to what Im doing, anyway Image

I've been "thinking about" adding MSP (Mud Sound Protocol) for...well, for a long time now. I still mean to get to it, maybe if I find a free day during alpha to hack with it.

It would be completely voluntary of course, so if you don't want any sounds, you needn't bother. Image

The nice thing about MSP us that its up to you whether or not you want to hear the sounds ... turn it on or turn it off, its not a code implementation that you have no control over.
