What\'re You Doing Whilst Watching AutoReconnect?

Postby Saraish Aderilix » Fri Mar 30, 2001 7:10 am

Hehe, as I watch my zmud window sit on Connection Error, I dream of what could be Image In the mean time, I'll be reading Faith of the Fallen, by Terry Goodkind which I picked up from the bookstore today, and thinking about how much my car service will cost me on monday.

I might even ring my girlfriend... Image

I suppose the other alternative would be to get myself some dinner - Soj is open for 10 hours and I am already eating easter eggs and apple pie as a substitute for "real" food.

And the one last thing I *might* be doing is my Excavation Engineering assignment to do with Tunnel boring machines... woot. What a way to spend Friday night Image

I am actually sitting here while my GF does her stats homework and I reply in monosyllabic grunts and the occasional uh huh. Nice thing is that she has told me about 3 times "I'm sorry your game crashed" I am thinking I like this one more and more Image Course that will change in a few weeks when she decides to dump me for somebody who can walk without a limp and carry her without being crippled the next morning. Oh well, it is nice for now Image (BTW: she's not large, I am just partially handicapped. Eating the dashboard of a car can do that to you.)

Oh yeah, I check the board and ebay once in awhile too as I drink Coors Original. Image

I tried that a long time ago, but it doesn't work. I forgot the exact reason since then, but I tried for a looong time Image Guess that working at a 2500 employee site means they block everything pretty damn good.

What do you do? Wonder if you might go afk for 24 hours and come back finding yourself banned for having a autoconnect on. Image

Hmmm at time i think i am the autoconnector... My ICQ lights up with 20 messages... "Tell me the second it is back up!" etc etc etc...

Then I hassle Valeos to tell me when it is up so I dont have to keep trying to connect. The good old 'pass the buck trick'
