Two huge ironbound gates mark the northern entrance to Waterdeep here,
standing twenty feet high, and surrounded by two fifty foot stone towers.
The city seems quite well protected behind this great display of defensive
might, with arrow slits and defensive measures lining the towers. The city
walls extend to the east and west for quite a distance, showing just how
big this city really is. A dirt road leads away to the north across a grassy
plain, out of sight.

Inside the Northern Gates of Waterdeep
Two huge ironbound gates guard the northern entrance to Waterdeep here,
standing nearly twenty feet tall. The gates are fastened to huge stone towers
on either side, making this entrance seem very secure and protected. A system
of ropes and pulleys hold the door up, reducing its weight and making it easily
opened and closed by a single operator. The street of silks leads away to the
south into the heart of the city, while the gateway exits out into a vast grassy
plains with mountains in the distance.

This broad avenue runs through the middle of Waterdeep, continuing
both north and south of here. There are stones every five feet along the
side of the road, marking the edges clearly. The street looks highly traveled,
with buildings on both sides of the road as far off as the eye can see. A
road running along the inside of the northern city wall leads away to the east
and west of here. The Street of Silks heads south, while one of the huge gates
of Waterdeep is directly north.

A wide pathway constructed from circular blocks of marble leads through
the edge of a huge garden here, ending at the holy temple of Waterdeep
just west of here. Several holy symbols have been carved into some of the
blocks, looking very elegant and beautiful. An aura of peace and calm
permeates the area, heightening the feeling of a divine presence nearby,
and the blessing of the gods laid down upon this ground.

Entrance to the Holy Temple of Waterdeep
Two huge carved marble pillars rise high into the air here, marking the
entrance to the holy temple. A beautiful decorated marble door is set
in-between the two pillars, having no keyhole or lock of any kind. The
temple itself is two stories high, shaped roughly like a pyramid, about
two hundred feet square. The pathway of clerics leads away from the
temple to the east of here. A white sign is attached above the door.

An immense fountain, thirty feet in diameter, rests here in a large plaza
near the center of the northern district of Waterdeep. The fountains clear
waters are quite inviting, crystal clear and about two feet deep. The street
of Silks runs both north and south of here, with a garden pathway to the
west and a warriors arena off to the east. From here, you can see the high
city walls in all directions off in the distance. There is a large plaque
fastened to one edge of the fountain here with some lines of text printed
on it.
The plaque is made of gold, with large letters on it demanding your attention!

This large open area is nearly a hundred feet in diameter, with a raised
platform at it's center. It appears that this is where traveling merchants
from other towns come to trade their goods. The platform might be used
for large auctions, or where town criers could shout out news and information.
Two large roads lead away from here, the largest in all the city. The Delzaren
road to the east and west, and the Street of Silks to the north and south.

the road.

He comes out of his room bumps into a few walls, says things to his girlfriend (even though she's not in the room) and wanders back into his hole to sleep.
Until this is fixed the evil scum will raid the city unscaved.

west and a warriors arena off to the east. From here, you can see the high
city walls in all directions off in the distance. There is a large plaque
fastened to one edge of the fountain here with some lines of text printed

Road Along the City Wall
This moderately sized road runs along the inner edge of the high city
walls here, paved with large flat slabs of stone. The high walls of the
city rise up nearly fifty feet here, with catwalks all along it's length.
It appears that the lords of Waterdeep were serious about making their city
defensible, as these walls seem quite thick and strong. The road continues
to the east a ways, with the cities northern gate just west of here. A huge
dwelling is south, and a stone ladder leads upwards towards the top of the
gate tower here.

Inside the Northern Gates of Waterdeep
Two huge ironbound gates guard the northern entrance to Waterdeep here,
standing nearly twenty feet tall. The gates are fastened to huge stone towers
on either side, making this entrance seem very secure and protected. A system
of ropes and pulleys hold the door up, reducing its weight and making it easily
opened and closed by a single operator. The street of silks leads away to the
south into the heart of the city, while the gateway exits out into a vast grassy
plains with mountains in the distance.

the center of the city. The street itself is covered with a layer of small
stones, making it much easier to travel on. There are buildings and shops,
even a few large structures, lining this road along its entire length. A supply
shop sits along the northern side of the road here.

This large open area is nearly a hundred feet in diameter, with a raised
platform at it's center. It appears that this is where traveling merchants
from other towns come to trade their goods. The platform might be be used
for large auctions, or where town criers could shout out news and information.
Two large roads lead away from here, the largest in all the city. The Delzaren
road to the east and west, and the Street of Silks to the north and south.
