Who is in the military?

Postby ashain » Tue Mar 27, 2001 2:18 am

I've always been surprised at how many mudders are in the military until I joined, i'm kinda curious to see what kind of percentage of Sojourn we own.

Heh, civilian, ex-military its all good, and not bad for only having the post up for about 20 mins so far. I guess I should mention i'm stationed Cape May NJ, USCGC Vigorous.

I was thinkin of joinin the canadian forces but i thought that it would take away from my mudding time. How do you find the time to mud while in the mlitarty???I would think they would keep you quite busy and access to a computer would be a little hindered.

All depends on where you're stationed, i'm on a cutter, and I deploy for about a month and a half at a time, if I were at a small boat station I would be home pretty much every night. As for those poor squids out there, they deploy for like 6 months, so yeah, they're kinda screwed. And as for the canucks, well they're all screwy anyways so you'd haveta ask them :P

We also have the most field days in the Swedish army. Oh yeah and in 1998 we kicked Navy Seals butts in the army field world championship ... i wasn't with them then though Image)

Yeah, I was an eagle scout, Troop 7, stationed in Columbia, SC.

I thought the canadian armed forces were for fending off attacks from the massive hordes of penguins....
