Well, the new begginning happened. And, oddly enough, I'm just about finished with chargen and -- poof. The game is full, and, when I try to restart:
Game is currently not allowing creation of new characters. Please use an
existing character, or try again later.
What is the matter?! I wanted to make a character here, but after being jipped out of Tiamat by showing up 30 minutes before it was SAID to start (9:00), and now this, I'm not so sure. What's the matter? Is it me, the client, or Sojourn?

Give them a few minutes. The message when you enter this soj3 website says that after tiamat they need 15 minutes to copy over files, etc. Relax, we'll get to mud soon enough

but it's far too difficult to relax when you've just taken way too many caffeine pills in order to stay up for the whole night.

Thats *wrong*! Your supposed to start with the caffeine after 30 hours or so. Now your only going to last 2 days if your lucky!

As a newbie to all of this I am really fascinated by all you addicts- I only found out about this MUD a week ago and I am excited by what I have read about this place but all you guys are a trip, really- I wonder what playing here will do to my social life, not to mention my sleep patterns

nah, it won't hurt too badly, elias.

especially if hang your head low and call yourself a "casual mudder" - which really just means that your ass is not yet immune to the pain it suffers from sitting in the same spot for days. once you get over that then you can proclaim yourself one of the elite.
