The TorilMud.Com Webpagea

Postby kwirl » Mon May 21, 2001 3:42 pm

i remember it as being one of the coolest
mud webpages in existence. is there gonna
be a similar incarnation this time around?

who is in charge? how do i beg said person
for information? i wanna write for the
barbarian advice column.

Dear dazzy, help me! I can't get a good
group with my level 13 ranger. I try to
find people to group with, but no one
seems to be interested. What do I do dazzy?

-groupless in waterdeep

Dazzy replies:
well groupless, dazzy think long and hard,
but him has come to conclusion that you
need see cleric for help. you not finding
group because you have bad eyes! GOOD
barbarians everywhere need NOT SO GOOD
little guys to throw sticks from behind
us. (dazzy smash humans who make bad
puns) obvious solution is to follow a
barbarian around. can't go wrong.

I think it was Mystra (now Roan) did did the bulk of the work.

I agree that she did a stellar job with the site. It would be cool if we could have something like that again.

Yeah, Mystra/Roan did the previous website(s). However, we no longer have them and she is not on the staff any longer.

I'm responsible for this site, but I don't have much time to work on it. There will be some big changes soon now that the MUD is live, in a week or two.

If you're interested in doing web design for Sojourn, shoot me an email and we'll talk. Image

And I guess I speak for every mortal on the mud, when I say that we rather see you code new cool stuff than work on the website Image

I've been waiting patiently for a reply from Miax on somethign my busines partner (Yahli) and i have been working on for soem months.

We are planning to offer a web site to each of the hometowns, as a local noticeboard, forsale site, interviews, stories, what ever.

Eg. Waterdeep.isyourtown.com

Griffonsnest.isyourtown.com

Ghore.isyourtown.com etc etc etc

Anyone interested in being a part of these "town' sites can contact me on Jasix@isyourtown.com

Preferably with urls for other web stuff you have done, we will be needing trusted competent web designers to look after each of the town sites but all input is welcome.

We will also be offering free email address for your charcter with corrisponding hometowns.

eg. Jasix@griffonsnest.isyourtown.com

Yahli@waterdeep.isyourtown.com

etc etc etc

Anyway, the offer is there if there are any takers to get the sites up and runnign and give Sojourn3 another aspect to web life.

1 Page might be better.. splitting things like this over 11 or so websites really puts a strain on the content you can actually put up on each.

Yeah! The Beilur hometown page would probably be empty as no one in their right mind stays inside that mazelike prison monstrosity of a city!
