*cough* I've had two level 30ish bards in my groups lately..

Yeah, but you have to admit they don't do anything useful, we basically "drag" them along because we know them. They don't hit in melee and they don't bother singing (the songs frankly suck, but let's hope that is because of their level), so I can see why there are at most 2 on when you type 'who bard'. Hell I wouldn't play one if they payed me. They are so not worth playing it's not even funny anymore, just like conjurers.

All I have to say is, thank God someone is tweaking with the bard code right now. I dunno if they're all anon or not (I highly doubt that), but I've only seen three goodie bards over level 14. And frankly, they are pitiful in their current state. I was grouped with Betandor, the ol' Battlebard, and he stuttered every other round when trying to sing heal. Not to mention the fact he broke like three lyres on our little 2-hour exp run. *comfort Betandor* :P
