Normally in any type of fantasy, a mages first melee weapon is a quarterstaff or a 2handed staff of some sort. With the new airship staffs that actually proc nifty things, it'd be nice if all mages were allowed the 2handed bludgeon skill. Maxing out at 50 or something of course. This would enable us to hit just a wee bit more if we truly wanted to.

I agree with the need of 2h bludgeon for mages.
Bilraex there are very few 2h weapons mages can use. I don't think it will be overpowering as those are mainly staves with poor damage. It's kind sad like it is now that the only mobs my weapons would proc on are tp animals. (i hardly can hit anything bigger)

I kinda think that shamans/clerics should be more weapon oriented than mages and so be able to max out blud skills higher than mages. However, I don't think it would really hurt anything if they maxed at the same amount. Mages tend to hold things for hps for the most part anyway. They need the hps much more than shamans or clerics. So, it wouldn't really throw anything out of balance, but just doesn't seem right. Still, I vote to let them do it because it might be funny to see Bil freak out:P
