Consent
Consent
A possible new command?
WhoConsent
Verarb is consenting you.
Jhorr is consenting you.
Touk is consenting you.
Kazibblie is consenting you.
This would avoid those annoying "damnit, wtf wasn't consenting me??" drag deaths.
Also, would it be difficult to make a command called gconsent? Meaning it would be a consent specifically designed for grouping via consent. Its just sometimes annoying when you need to consent people for group but another person for drag or while doing resses and unintentionally grouping a bunch of people?

yea i wrote it in a hurry so it doesn't sound right.
Would be great if we had the following:
make consent in bright green so people can see who is consenting you.
add a message when you lose a person's consent.
have multiple consents, so u can consent leader and multiple clerics
have consent with no parameters to list who is consenting you.

Related to consent
I was thinking this a few months back that we should be able to drag incompacitated pc's out of a room aswell.. I've died trying to bandage a person while a dragon was breathing all over the place..
It'd be more realistic to think I would drag them out of danger before I tried to bandage them..

Currently, unlike follow, the MUD only keeps track of who you are consenting, now who is consenting you.
While this is a good idea, it's not as simple as you would think (well, there's an easy way to do it, inefficient, but not difficult).
No promises, but we'll look at this.
As for when someone revokes their consent, the message should be in now (I did that change a while ago). Did it get overwritten, or is it still in?

Looping through all characters and checking if they consent you and list that could be semi-intensive. However, if you only do it when someone types "consent", then it should not be any problems.

i posted about some consent thingy awhile ago, then a week later i saw the revoked consents and thought just like rylan , but heres the deal you only see the revoked consent if they consent self, if they consent somebody else you get no message, i'd like message for when they consent someone else, 99% of times i gotta say goofed consents were not because of the person didnt wanna consent u and consented themselves but rather to do something that required consent to someone else.... but yea what dornax was sayin sounds good or just put it under score underneath followers with a list of who consents........
This is how i implemented consent on another mud.
typing "consent" shows who have consented you and which type of consent:
Mithius - DRAG, GROUP
Bofkar - ALL
Kyos - LOOT
When you consent someone you just do
"consent bofkar group"
to give consent for grouping.
"consent bofkar" (gives full consent to all)
Something similar would be good here i guess... no?
