Elementalist healing pets

Postby Drache » Mon Jul 29, 2002 5:05 am

I would _love_ to see an elementalist able to heal his pet. Say 'air blast' for air elemental, 'earthblood' for earthy, etc. -or earthdart, fireball for fire. Maybe have steam cloud insteadda ice spear? for water. Seems like if the elemental is consenting, it'd be fun fun fun!

im against it cuz i think elementalists already very very strong. another reason, is they can choose which plane they are summoning from now and there is no limit on the number they can summon. If you wanted to change one or more of those, I might support them being able to heal pets.

If elementalist are so strong, why aren't there 100's of em on? I don't see it and I'm almost 30th level, which is taking forever to get to as it is ...It takes a _long_ time to kill anything Image Very versatile like shammy or cleric tho

If numbers dictate power levels- then why are there so many rangers around?

Because we are obviously the uber-class on Soj3, and you're all missing out by not taking 10 rangers zoning with you every time.

If everyone played power classes, we'd all be warriors and clerics Image Any zone can be done if you bring enough warriors and clerics in the correct proportion Image

beh, elementalist been around for like over 3 or 4 months...if they were so strong, everybody'd be using them from the start. The power players aren't stupid, they'd had a flood of them like how necro's were redone. They died off, I don't recall ever seeing a flood of ele's. They were evaluated, and dismissed as powerful by most, apparently.

heh, they keep their mouth shut about what they can do so that the class doesnt get flooded and subsequently nerfed.

Kinda completely off topic, but do water elementals still freeze into ice elementals if the druids play with control weather?

can't keep your mouth shut when others would see someone too powerful, which isn't the case Image. If someone sees super strong, they'll jump on the bandwagon too, hasn't happened

Elementalists aren't super strong regardless of Kiryan's rather...unique perspective. But I disagree with being able to heal our pets. It just isn't needed.
