Room Dispel Magic

Any way it can be worked in to have a dispel magic that works on a room?

Like if the room is fogged and you cast dispel magic, the fog will dissipate or at least you have a chance to dissipate it.

You can't dispel a perm fireshield.. so not being able to dispel a perm fog isn't that hard to do. It would take the absolute annoyance of having to wait for casted fogs to fade...
