Upon casting of this spell a caster leaves a magical beacon in a room, that can be used as a target for relocate,shadow walk and dimension door spells. The target is valid just for the person that cast the spell. The beacon will vanish once it was used,upon casting spell in another room or after 6 hours (6minutes real time)

if it doesnt last past boot... i cant really say id have a problem.
however, might have some impact on quests that are supposed to be time consuming due to walking from one end of the earth to the other.
and like casters need it any easier getting around.

Notice the spell duration: 6 hours. That's 6 minutes real time, so don't expect miracles please
Of course, this is like giving Illusionists an all-terrain, global Travel via Plants spell, removing yet another melee class niche and giving it to Illusionists. So, for that reason, thumbs down.

heh i said this like a year ago. the exact same spell under a different name is on the mud zoldren and i OR the mud jevan and i use to play on.

Naa, you can't cast relo in combat, so it'd keep the status quo for your transport via plants niche.

It definately is, its what rangers (and sometimes druids) use to lure mobs in nature areas.
arch & transport is pretty efficient for luring.

It's a very cool idea for a spell...
But then ghetto wells would be even easier/cooler,
whereas now I have to timestop, throw 4 gates, reloc to someone, gate us both up, and scramble to find my original 4 gates to get back to where I was... it's like the ghetto well olympics!

(In all seriousness, very cool idea, but druids/rangers might be pissed, not without good reason)
