but maybe.. scribe a spell to a scroll...

money dump == 100plat /empty scroll
money dump == failure of scribing == ruined scroll

skill of 50 == 85 % chance failure of scribing 1 first circle spell to a scroll

skill of 90 == 30 %chance to write 1 first circle spell to a scroll, or 85% chance to write 1 third(fifth?) circle spell to a scroll

maybe have them sellable to stores for 1 copper, scribed or not, but failed scribes == junk == no sell

no twinkin there

also, this can leave open the avenue for spell%failure... ie if mage recites this has low 1-10% chance failure.. if a warrior recites it 75 >> chance of failure.

and would make the skill semi useful for those of us dumbasses who bothered practicing scribe

Very interesting idea. It could be done properly I think. Level 40 - 50 mage skill needing to pay guild leader for blank magical scrolls which would allow for the scribing of one spell 5th circle or lower. Scrolls would be expensive of course.

Love the idea Could make it more like D/D and also use a bit of exp when you scribe. Now that would limit twinking. And it would give people a use for most of that access exp after they hit 50.98+ Or you could probably use a bit of prestiege? Either way i like the idea.
