Flea Pit of the Arcane

Postby rarlaj » Fri Jan 02, 2004 4:02 am

A few years back... I came across a short story called "Flea Pit of the Arcane". It was a tale relayed from an apprentice, of a powerful but eccentric mage. The writer (unknown to me) was planning on trying to get it published.

I recieved the story from him off a mailserver for DND. If anyone has heard of this please let me know...

I have the first eight chapters, and would really like to finish the tale.

thanks that is all please return to your ranger bashing!

When a man lies, he murders some part of the world
These are the pale deaths, which men miscall their lives
All this I cannot bear to witness any longer
Cannot the kingdom of salvation take me home?

Hmm...

A while back, I read a story on the net that began with:
"My name is Amys Jones, and I'm an Angel of Death."

It was actually a decent story in terms of the ideas it presented. However, for years I've been unable to find it. (This leads me to suspect that I've remembered the narrator's name incorrectly).

Anyone want to take a crack at it? ;)
