The Bourne Supremacy

Postby Sesexe » Sun Jul 25, 2004 9:33 pm

Thumbs Up! :D

Very well done spy thriller!

I think it's safe to say however you felt about the first one, you're going to feel the same way about this one.

The movie was fantastic, good pace and well thought out... The cinematography is in the same style as the first one giving it a very rough ride kind of feel.

If you haven't seen the first one, you're gonna have to rent it first... or this one won't make ANY sense.

I liked the movie. i just didn't like the crazy shaking camera. i couldn't see what was going on in the action scenes too much . still liked it tho.

Horry shit. i agree with Muma. AFK to go kill myself now.

Seriously tho, good movie, but the fight scenes had that sloppy ass
camera style that was also in the chronicles of riddick. made the action
hard to follow, and messy.

Yup, darn stupid camera. When are they going to realize that the shakey camera trick doesn't immerse us into the film, it just pisses us off. I want to see some dude get whacked in the face by a roundhouse, not have somebody attempt to trick me into thinking i'm sitting right there.

Other than that, I loved the movie. Oh yeah :SPOILER:

except for that part where at the end of the car chase and the guy that was chasing him crashes. If I were Bourne, I'd have put a few slugs in the guys head before I left...just to make sure he was dead. The guy kinda still looked a bit alive since he was kinda moving a bit...and I'm sure there was an amublance on the way...oh well, must just be me.

when i saw it i was _REALY_ low on sleep so bout half way through the movie i was like "just end" and it could have ended a few times after that... i will watch it again when i have more sleep... but even in that state i thought it was a good movie... went to go see it with kikuji she enjoyed it to but ill let her tell you bout her experience bout it if she choses.

Yeah, I couldn't agree more. The camera shake on action was bad. I don't like that either. I think Gladiator took it as far as I ever wanted to see it (talking about the first battle in the opening scene of that movie, the rest were great! I had to watch that scene a few times to be able to take it in.)

Was a great flick, ever so slightly a let down.

I was expecting Leo from the professional except severely pissed off.

I wanted to see him completely rule, not something realistic where he just wins.

Anyone ever read the novels that these films are based on?

I liked both Bourne movies. I would have liked them a hell of alot more had they actually made the Bourne story instead of twisting it into what it is now.

I get that movies based on books often change alot in the translation to film, but if you're going to buy the name shouldn't you at least use the basic *concept* of the story?

Same deal with I, Robot, though that one didn't really use anything at all from the Asimov story, outside of the 3 Laws of Robotics.

Oh well, it was still an entertaining flick, though I agree about the shaky camera. Cut that out already.

Once again, the shakey/zoomed too far in camera ruins the fight scenes. This time it was in AvP. Loved the story line, wish the would have made it R instead of PG-13 so they could actually make it a gore fill as they are intended to be. For all its faults, it was still worth the download.

Yeah, so I saw this last night.

For a sequal, it wasn't horrible. The camera very definately did give me a headache though. It was very annoying in certain fight sequences. Otherwise, not a bad flick.
