Outlook XP

Postby kwirl » Tue Dec 07, 2004 5:49 pm

I'm trying to play with outlook after a long foray into web-based e-mail. Would anyone here know how to edit the autocomplete list? When you send a mail, it opens Word, and in the "To..." you type in a couple letters, and it gives you the option to click a name and add that to the list.

What if the item in that list is outdated? If you want to change that particular address to a newer one, and completely remove the old option from the autocomplete service. I've been all over google and microsoft's web page, and this trivial detail is bugging me :P

Seriously, short of a reinstallation, which is stupid - does anyone know of a registry fix/hack or any outlook configuration area that would let you reset this? it seems kind of stupid to not be able to do that

I think that when the autocomplete menu pops up, you can arrow up or down the menu, and press the 'Delete' key, and it will delete the completion currently selected.

Eilorn.
Now, we can do this the hard way, or... well, actually there's just the hard way.
