HA! That rotten Dartan the so-called WildStallion is trying to steal my homies! But, Rabble is one of the best MC guilds around.

Ragorn - ML disbanded. :( Like I mentioned to Ranon on the thread above; you welcome to Slime, too! but my guess is you want the high end stuff :) so Slime wouldn't be the guild for you.

Alot of the mudders prefer the loot over just simple kick ass fun. Go figure! :P This goes for Kifle as well should he return to wow someday. :)

Should you want a break from the tedious stuff, do what some 60's did, put your alts in my guild and we'll jam together. I'm taking my time on my hunter atm and only pull out Sunny whenever needed for whatever.

lub all you nubs wit lotta slime lub!

What's fun outside of BWL/MC?
It will be fixed in Toril 2.0.

WoW it is then ;)

But! if you have alot of free time like you say and want to experience the high end stuff and get epic loot - you may want to send one of our favorite former duris guildmates a tell - MALOK! :) I'm sure he'd let you in Rabble. :)

Hurm... yeah, I'm gonna setup Ventrilo tonight and try to chat with all of them :) See whats up... Malok kicks ass, one of my favorite clerics of all time.

Latikara, she's a lowbie orc hunter. :P 21 I think? lots of hunters in my guild. My bro been recruting them :P cuz he's a hunter fanatic himself with 3 hunters of his own, 60 tauren, currently working on his orc then later his troll. sheesh! :)

Oh btw, you remember one of the delimas we had of having more priests in ML, well, Slime seem to have a variety now, LOLOL..sweet irony! getting a bit of everything it seems and we just started. :)

Approaches with his walking stick

Postby Wulv » Thu Sep 22, 2005 5:45 pm

Well I know I"m late getting to this forum, haven't checked it out in about a year...

I started in about 94...Duris (what's Duris) Mystra and Lloth were the Forgers...

and little Cyric was just a Human named Burunga....

So many old friends who I still think off 10+ years later.

I think you mean Labelas, not Duris.

Labelas was the Forger Envoy that later split from Sojourn to form Duris. That split didn't happen until much after '94.

Out of curiousity, are there are any really really old school players still here? I would say from back around 1996? If you remember the names Serro, Brunthar, Wug, Garosh, Kulak, Xyzom, Sao, Tryth..Isao...I cant remember half the names anymore. But if you remember any of those...or if any of those guys are still playing, drop me a line.

I was Brunthar on the old old sojourn before the split into Duris (at which time I left this mud)

man i havent seen you in a long long time.. i started playing in 1995 as Shalantir.. cleric.. in legion of chaos.. then stopped playing when it split.. damn makes me feel so friggin old.. well good to see you again :)

Yes - When Tolm was 8 years old, he was a Lily of the Sisterhood! Wow, did some folks forget about that guild and Tolm being a member?? haha! Well, I don't blame people if they don't remember; it was a LONG time ago, about over 10-11 years ago or so - and i was in it, too, (for a short time) that's how I know about Tolm!

so Tolm is about what...18-19 now or something? make the calculations, it all adds up within that timeframe! Not that it proves anything, but he was in it! He was our baby girl in the guild. The youngest mudder I had ever met when I was playing. Btw - I know I forget alot of shit but some of this stuff you just cannot forget! Selective memory ftw! It was cute at the time cuz he was a wee baby.

Enjoy!

I live in Omaha and even the die-hard folks at work who wear Nebraska jerseys on an off week are forecasting a loss :
Nerox tells you 'Good deal, the other tanks I have don't wanna do it, and since your my special suicidal tank i figure you don't mind one bit!'

Alurissi tells you 'aren't you susposed to get sick or something and not beable to make tia so i can go? :P'

I remember a lot of those names. I started playing in 93-94, but was just a little guy. I drooled when I saw Serro dual wielding those swords. The most fun I had is when I played a monk and got him to 50 when they rocked. 7d5 with 7 attacks and 30+ dam (I think this was 97-98?).

Anyway, I log on once in a while as a drow necro. Only class I can play, because I usually don't have more than an hour to play. Growing up sucks sometimes!

I started playing like a year before the Duris splittage. I was always pretty low level but I remember most of the names!

Do you guys remember what else mobs would say when in combat besides "I will enjoy stepping on your bloody corpse!" ? I loved the fact that even animal mobs would say this.

I remember when my friends and I finally went evilrace and one of our friends refused to follow us but eventually we got his goodie druid outcasted! He was like "um, why do i repop in the desert?!" =)

I used to check the Crimson Death north of WD daily because it wasn't rare to find a ton of eq on the ground from rotted corpses. Half of my eq was thanks to him!

Spam killing buffalo until I could animate a wraith! Sorc and cleric spells in one pet. *drool*

I was also in a Dorf-only guild with my mercenary but I forgot the name. =(

Aah, the good ol' days.

I played in Sojourns Original form with a bunch from local BBS here in the Greater Seattle Area.. at that time I was unfamilar with what the Net really was as being a local bbs dial up geek.. Then was introduced to Cyberspace and Unix Shell.. then TinTin and Sojourn.. then on I was hooked to mudding..

Names elude me nowdays.. memory goes with age, but many I knew from Prostar BBS, Masterpiece BBS and Paradox Online BBS .. if any of those are still about and still remember a person of those services by the name of Demenshia.. give me a yell in game under the names in my Tagline..

Didn't Brunthar have a mask of invisibility? I thought it was the coolest thing ever. Doombringer? Feh. I wanted an invis mask!

I don't remember when I started playing. The 90's are a fantasy-infused Internet haze thanks to MUDs. I joined Legion of Chaos. Was later a founder in Crimson Sigil. I loved winning that character description contest and getting to restring my equipment. What I wouldn't give to remember all the stuff I had renamed, but damned if it hasn't all leaked out of my brain.

I played early on with Thengil and Enth and Raiwen in the Mailed Fist. I was a little evil wizard then, trying to turn good. Alignment moved soooo slow, and I couldn't join until I turned good. Eventually I guess I gave into the dark side and went with Legion.

Caleb. LOL I ran into him early on in EQ. I saw his name, sent him a tell, and got gibberish in response. I knew it was the same guy immediately.

Anyone remember Brachus? If it weren't for him, I would have probably quit before getting very far. He was a terrific guy.

I've never had so much fun staring at scrolling text.

Hey there Menoch long time 8)
