spelling bee

Postby sok » Thu Jun 01, 2006 12:38 am

Okay the Spelling Bee is going Prime Time.

Anyone as Excited as me?

The Suspense!
The Excitement!
The Drama!
The Kids Battling & Spelling their ASSes off.
Their's no Give in any of these Kids!

I'm rooting for Patel, the odds on favor. A 4th year veteran, who has progressively done better each of his past 3 years. 10th, 3rd, and tie for 2nd last year.

Having said all that, the situation has been handled, so this thread is pretty much at an end. -Kossuth

not possible. cuz it's a single event, theres no league, no tour, no nothing. If we can have the WNBA we should definately have a spelling bee tour. Just one man's opinion, but gosh dang it, i'm a short man.

I weep for humanity when crap like this not only makes it to the airwaves, but garners viewers as well.

I think it is great that they are finally televising something that shows kids that being smart isn't as lame as everybody believes. Hopefully they will televise more events like this and kids will stop thinking it is cool to be stupid. Hell, maybe even some parents will be affected and rather than pushing their kids to become pro athletes, they'll push them to study.

Amazingly enough, there are more scholarships available based on grades and intelligence than those based on athletic ability.
Nerox tells you 'Good deal, the other tanks I have don't wanna do it, and since your my special suicidal tank i figure you don't mind one bit!'

Alurissi tells you 'aren't you susposed to get sick or something and not beable to make tia so i can go? :P'
