zulu time is the same as the standard gmt.. it's just how the militairy uses it..

Military uses message traffice to communicate .. each message is date and time stamped to reflect zulu time so that everyone is on the same page time wise, now you just need to know what time it was for you when that xray message came out :P

Its fun while on cruise to see those time zones go backwards as you get closer to HOME!!

Yesterday was "Walk Against Warming"

Postby ssar » Sun Nov 05, 2006 12:13 am

Yesterday (Today in some parts of the world) was/is "Walk Against Warming" - International Day of Action on Climate Change.

http://www.walkagainstwarming.org/

http://www.wilderness.org.au/campaigns/climate/

http://www.globalclimatecampaign.org/

http://www.climateaction.org.au/node/11

A fine reason to try and make a statement to world leaders.
Pity it was raining, cold and windy here - we drove past our area's location and gave a wave of support from the car anyways.
