Laurel is supposedly going to be induced into labor tomorrow (Monday, July 17th, 2006) if the hospital has room. We forsee no problems, but you never know.

Please pray for a safe delivery and good heath for her and the baby.

Please pray that nothing goes wrong so I don't have to kill anyone.

pics will come eventually.

baby was born on monday. We named her Ava Catherine Kittrell and yes sok you get to be her uncle. thanks for all the prayers and words of encouragement.

She was born at 11:30 am. 6lbs 12 ounces. 13" head, 13" chest. She's healthy, started nursing right away and is crapping and peeing like mad. Laurel is recovering quite nicely, I had expected her to be more sickly but shes strong considering.

I almost had to kill the doctor and the male nurse for "checking her dilation". Next time I think we better deliver at home. On the plus side, I never been up close and personal when someone is pooping and now i have. I got to cut the placenta and put it in the refrigerator so I can figure out what kind of tree to plant with it. Oh the joys of child birth.

I'm a daddy and the shotgun is ready for any future suitors, you have been warned.
