Heh.. thats like my situation. Son was born two weeks early on 10/29/07. If he would have waited a week, my wife would have more than 50% service time for the current academic year (including sick and personal days), which would have put her up a salary step. It cost me approximately $2,000.00 per year for the rest of her career. :)

Enjoy every poo filled diaper, diaper rash, checking every 10 minutes they aren't awake to see if he/she is still breathing... And that's just the first year! Grats, man.

I apologize. I posted the message on the 1st, but the baby was actually born on the 31st. He's starting off on my good side already, as a very practical little man. My other two kids seem happy with the new addition, although I think they're happier being spoiled at home by their grandparents.
