Maxint vs maxwis

Can future area gods please make some worthy maxwis items? I know this mud is mage-dominated but give the clerics some love.

I rolled with the old roller, and need normal wisdom items. That is really hard to get on good items. except for sun amulet. Int is more easy and is on a few good items like bone leggings

Well some of us believe it does something, but its hard to tell without actual game data or god looking at the code.

There are theories as to what it does. But it would be nice to have more useful psi gear, yeah we basically use mage gear but to us int doesn't do a whole hell of a lot and to a mage psp doesn't do squat (unless its a yuan).

Sorry to hijack the thread though, carry on about wis gear.

maxwis max = 125 maybe?

What slots lack maxwis that have maxint? Gloves? There are other slots too, right?

Yeah rare gloves from IC2 have 4maxint (I think) and put the fingerless gloves from musp invasion to shame.

Yep.

There are still many slots, take mask. here is bevor and ggmask somewhat similar. Nobody really want to wear ggmask because it isnt that good.

Also, the orbs for +max_wis is from smoke invasion and hulburg. The +int is from ET and Clouds. Mabye the eq is there, but it's never done either because it doesn't load or because the zones aint done.

Hulburg isn't done Diso, because the zone is difficult yet the equipment is in the toilet stat wise.

So why isn't ggmask considered good? What's better to wear then it? I noticed this too, just kinda wondering why. My cleric wears one, but rarely see anyone else.

ggmask +10 hp +3 max_wis
bevor +15 hp -7ac +3 max_int

Placing ggmask as a midlevel item, and bevor as a highlevel item.

The bracers from moontemple is the same thing. Yes, it has +max_wis, but it's not woth wearing.

My comparison of the masks is because to me they are fairly equal to get. Those that never go to muspel will think ggmask is much less time consuming.

In those zones that are done a lot there simply isn't nice +max_wis eq. Mabye it exists somewhere else.

(I am missing regular +wisdom aswell, but mabye thats just me)

You're thinking of differant gloves from ic2 that are maxwis, and unfortunately the fingerless ones are better in my opinion. The mage ones I've heard about rock the house though.
