just doesn't make sense to give a spell that only one class in the mud can cast, then make it from another school :P

Actually, if I remember correctly, they were changed to the appropriate school. Just hasn't been updated in the helpfiles.

Both Siphon and Annihilate are updated. The spells were originally classified as type invocation, but it was determined afterwards to shift them to the relevent areas of expertise.

Since we're diverted to nerfed help files, revisit lich touch?
I've never once seen it para. Maybe update it to not get peoples hopes up? I know a recent lich who was a bit disappointed.

Lich touch has not parad since we were beta testing this mud. . .3-4 years ago? They took it out (and downgraded rot) after 2 liches. . .I cant remember who did it with me. . .managed to do jot throught the 2nd gatehouse without any help.

I personally never thought the para was the overpowering part of the lich arsenal. The old living rot was absurd and old hasted, shielded vampires with maxed shieldpunch and bite caused most of the craziness.

Speaking of lich touch, it says they're para'd if fails, but slow always lands IF they save. Slow rarely hits, and mob never ever para'd yet. So yeah, please revisit that :)

Slow used to be automatic, chance of para.

If I recall correctly, the chance to para became a chance to slow and para was removed completely.

It was great for exp, but not terribly useful for zoning because of the confusion it could cause. On the upside, it's damage was increased when these changes went in. It used to be a very low damage spell.

I would still rather have the old spell back :p
