PRESERVE
Spell.

Area of effect: <corpse>
Aggressive: N/A
Cumulative: Yes
Duration: one game hour per level of caster
Class/Circle: Necromancer/Lich 1st, Cleric/Druid 2nd, Shaman 3rd
Type of spell: Generic

This allows the caster to extend the process of decay in a corpse. Each
preserve cast will extend the viability of the corpse three real life minutes
for each of the caster's levels.

--------- that's what the help files say...

But when I cast preserve on an NPC corpse, I get 48 hours for a none soul bound and 240 hours for a soul bound. So is the help file wrong? What am I missing here.

Bleh I think I figured it out.

Its 3 mins for Player corpses. 5 mins for soul bound NPC corpses and 1 min for none soul bound NPC corpses
