Real Name Listing Trigs

Postby Kegor » Sat Aug 25, 2007 9:03 am

Was not my idea, but I think quite a few people will like it. Works just like the alt listing one, except says the character's real name if it has been added.

Command: 'tell Kegor name (char)'

If you want to add your real name to these trigs mwrite Kegor or post it here and it will be so.

make me a alias or something... like this....
pink tells jaznolg who pink
jazlong tells pink pink has 5000 alts x|y|z|etc

#alias tpink
tell x %*
tell y %*
etc etc... sooo hard to who all those names on a few people :p

What we really need is a character locator of sorts to find out which alt of a particular person is online at the time (or if they aren't on at all). I will bump that idea to the top of my to code list.

Here's your alias tho Pinky.

Code: Select all

#ALIAS ftell {#FORALL @ALIST {tell %i %1}}

#TRIG {{Zoominixxar|Kegor|Zonariknik|Radiromis|Jaznolg|Rekzen|Rekziss|Kobud|Zurxx|Nexar|Zobud|Konar} tells you 'Alts: %d ~* &ALIST'$}

So if you type 'ftell hi' (without a char name after ftell since that is saved in the variable ALIST) it will send the tell 'hi' to every alt in the last alt list you recieved from me.

*EDIT: Changed entire post to respond correctly and cover up the wasted time and space that was my previous post.

I think he's asking for a trig that will attempt to send a tell to all of the aliases of a particular person. Thus, if I'm looking for one player but they're on their 10th alt, I don't have to search the Who list to find out which alt they're playing at the time.

Please direct any future questions, comments, requests, or ideas related to database stuff here. Easier for me to find.
