Remembering the days..... and times of change.

Postby dungap » Tue Jan 08, 2008 10:20 pm

When the player base was an average 400+ and maintained an average 120 players online, it was extremely hard to find an experience group because all the twinkable experience zones were full of people. (Being able to kill only 2 pod wives per pop because there were 30 other people in the zone, was frustrating but fun.) Those days have come and pass and now the current situation is having not enuff people to zone or to even form a modest group. Yes, the mud has made changes to accomodate this new era of Toril, however it is not enough. The mud needs to make efforts to recruit new members to play in order for this mud to not only be fun, but viable. (The mud means myself and everyone else who plays this fricken game.) We should all try to recruit our friends, our families, and co-workers to at least try out this game.

Having one more noob in this game can make a difference!

going from 2 to 4 players isn't going to help much, save your talking to actual females in real life, instead of postin on a BBS how awesome you are. I'll believe it when I see it. That's like me saying, "I'm a paladin with 18 charisma and 97 hit points. I can use my helm of disintegration and do 1d4 damage as my half-elf mage wields his +5 holy avenger."

I don't think I've ever seen you flame someone before. Gratz!
It will be fixed in Toril 2.0.

Doesn't count. He used a lame D&D reference in there from some commercial or somewhere, can't remember where I heard it. If he had just left the first sentence he woulda been good.

That is quite possibly the nerdiest thing I've ever seen in my entire life. And I play Dungeons and Dragons AND World of Warcraft, so that's kind of saying something.
