Selecting a type of weapon for Holy Avenger

Would it be possible to change up the quest at the end so there is a choice for player to select what form of weapon player want the avenger to be? In return, the dice and hit/dam properly reflects the type of weapon chosen for holy avenger while keep special effects same for all forms.

For example, if player chose 2h Slasher form to take benefit of PLD's 2h bonus and RP. Stat of 2h avenger would be same as now 7/4 6/4. If player choose 1h Bludgeon form so they can wear shield, stat could be 4d4 3/3 or something. However no matter what form of holy avenger player choose, the proc effects are all the same.


I think this would give flexibility and option to players on what PLD they would want to be and it would not unbalance the game. Heck some people might even quest holy avenger multiple times to have a 2h form for dmg mode and 1h form for tank mode! Also since PLD doesn't get shieldblock or Dual wield, it wouldn't make PLD power house in any form. Just gives a player a way to sort of customize their character and personal play style preference.
