I know that lvl 50's are starting to overcrowd the game. And as a result, character wipes occur. How bout instead of character wipes, we have somthing called rebirth. A level 50 with 98% can quest for rebirth. They would go back to level one, except that they would recieve an attribute bonus, or some other kind of token. Or maybe, instead of some bonus, they would just recieve a shiny star next to their name, indicating how many times a player has been rebirthed. Of course, not all 50's would want this. This is why it would only be questable, and not automatic after you hit lvl 51

This is especially appealing after dedicating years to this mud, and having nothing to show for it after a wipe.

Umm... as far as I know, its been promised that there will be no wipe...

also, you can't possibly give me enough shiny stars to make me re-exp from 1 - 50 heh

His name is Pibel and is a level 47 rogue.

Oh, rebirthed Pibel too.

His name is tefel level 38 bard.

Oh, rebirthed Tefel too.

His name is Xiden level 27 Necro.

The nice thing is, when we need a shaman for our groups I still have one!

But none of those Chr's can exp past 50...you don't stop learning at age 20 do you? I like the idea. It's not unbalancing, not over powered, something new, something different, something to make a chr unique. Oh wait, we like to be cookie cutter characters here. NM, drive thru.

I'd rather be able to trade in some of my 770% exp progress towards increasing my crappy agility or getting specialize past 90.

Actually, miax promised thier wouldn't be a pwipe. Shevarash said there wouldn't be a wipe, when the mud opened as torilmud. He left it open with the possibilty that their might be a wipe.
