After disarming
Could something be done to reduce the spam? Either make failed attempts to pick up the weapon invisible to others. Or just make it allow only a single attempt (with higher probablity of success than it is currently)?

Seeing failed attempts lets everyone in the room know that the weapon's still on the ground and that they need to keep spamming "get X-item". If we just automatically made the first person to try to get the item succeed, wouldn't that be an upgrade, of sorts, to disarm, as the mob (or player in arena) would not be the first person to attempt to get the weapon?
