Can we get Ogre Pallies who can dual wield avengers? That is all.

Real ogres are only 350ish lbs.
Real trolls are roughly the same height as ogres and weigh 500 lbs.
Is this what you meant by real ogres? :P
Now, in the conceptional world of the MUD in which we play, dual wielding two-handed weapons would be a moot point. Why?
Don't quote me on this, but I believe the skill's bare limit on gaining an extra attack would be 75. I haven't played a rogue or ranger in years.

Code: Select all
dual wield (average) (50)

I think that idea is 100% out of line. Paladins are holy warriors that are righchous and such. Try to read help class_paladin before submitting ideas to the BBS.

Diso.... try this command.... "tog humor" maybe then you'll find the start of this thread more amusing. Because really Ogre need to be pallies just as much as Lich's need blind.

Heh, if just the phrase "Ogre Pallies" didn't give it away Pril, the toggle may be broken.

Ogres could prolly do with a little improvement to make them more viable.
Thier strength doesnt seem that huge, perhaps boosting ogre str scale even more.
Someone else suggested adding some HPs to them (extra 50 HPs at lvl 50) or something, that might be viable.
Wielding certain 2h weapons in the primary hand whilst wearing a shield, or then wielding a 1h weapon in the offhand would rock, but that would have to be examined well to address balance issues, perhaps.
In some fantasy realms Ogres are considered some of the biggest (tall, strong and fat) monsters whilst trolls are smaller and thinner, can fall into a wide range of alignment tendencies (often very dumb and very evil), and often very dirty.
Mmmm.. Fat Ogre.

Well Diso, it's nice that you have a role-model but really i would of chosen a better one. And just to help you let me give you pointers. Notice how Teflor makes up quotes from either dead people or places that are impossible to find. When he does manage to mess up and quote a source that's easy to check he's proven wrong (see the history channel fiasco). Please continue your work to be more like Teflor, but try to pick a role model who's at least a LITTLE better than Teflor, like Michael Jackson.
